@Moon At least they're not making him develop software 😅
@astrid Mom, I said pine tree, not binary tree 😤
@thor C'mon, drop that act, we all know you're a cat! 😹
@jaywink
Either he hates a lot of languages or I don't see any system behind that at all. How did pascal get lower than C, what is perl doing down there? Or whatever that camel stands for. Why is go on the same level as typescript? Erlang is a high-level language with advanced threading/concurrency, how did it get there?

Let's get right to the rinse and spin cycle! I don't want him to suffer… for too long 😈
@critical
@Jim What's with the getup? Is he like MF Doom now or what? 🤔

Начал блатняк уже петь? Молодец, к успеху идёт!

Squeal! 🤪

I think you can use group policy to hide it — at least that's what I did with this "Your Phone" when it was called that. I didn't even know they've renamed it to Phone Link — I've uninstalled it ages ago.
I've also removed Microsoft Chrome, WebView2 and whatnots. I have to admit, Windows isn't half bad without all the bloat 🤓

I get your POV and you've made your share of valid points, I'd sum it up as follows: countering that sort of "feminism" must not turn into hating women. Because it has nothing to do with women or feminism, it's about nasty people who are very vocal, but are in fact a minority. Tomorrow they'll rebadge themselves and make you hate someone else by being annoying as fuck!
And yes, they're always ready to label you hitler if you don't want to pick their camp.

@neglesaks@mstdn.io No denying the pioneering role in the field of nuclear energy SU and later Russia had, but I guess no one wants to have a sequel from the makers of Chernobyl disaster. The same inefficient bureaucracy and will to sacrifice human lives fixing it didn't go anywhere, just got more corrupt. So you see where my concerns about whether that waste tuned fuel is put to good use come from.
But I'm not into scaremongering over new tech and it's great that the science is there.
@neglesaks@mstdn.io I don't have solid opinion on the fast-neutron tech, not the tech itself but the fact that they have a production-ready implementation — there were several articles that look legit, but the source is never trustworthy. There are a few satellite images circulating online of waste containers very similar to the ones they've brought in from Germany last year just dumped in the forest. So it might be a coverup to make eco-activists protest less.
@neglesaks@mstdn.io If you consider the amount of lies that comes out of Russia and the generous amounts of cash they spend on bribes and biased articles, this might at least partially be bullshit.
I won't put my money on it, but I've seen it a lot: take recent article in The Economist on how Russian economy isn't doing that bad (I live here I can see exactly how it's doing, Economist for chrissake!🤦) or the article in Nature about the efficacy of Sputnik vaccine — it still didn't undergo proper testing…
@wolkenblume
There always are corner cases, but pigeonholing works 90% of time and if they didn't promise personal approach they just cut corners like that.

Proper strategy IMO is to ignore it. Feminism per se isn't the problem, this kind of overcompensation is. It will balance out given time and this kind of harassment will die out if it receives no attention 🤷

This is true! And they often attack wrong men online — the ones who never mistreat women or manipulate them. Just because they are… men 😅
I know what you're talking about, but going to war with this kind of "feminism" is still wrong because once you go down that rabbit hole you start doing exactly what they are doing, you start interacting only with woman like them as if other women who aren't into that do not exist, but they do and there are lots of them.
@safi3@mstdn.starnix.network @dc @rootbsd @apiratemoo
@kotik It is true, but I don't think it's the main reason anymore. Even in Russia early anime fans are already in their forties, in Japan, from what I know, birth rate is in decline, population grows older and the age of an average fan goes higher with it. The demand for older characters is most certainly there!
My weird theory goes is that they use it as a justification for characters having to much time to spare, not doing their 9 to 5 instead 🤭
