When exactly did he have time to be "out of shape", in elementary school? 🤣
@neural_meduza Партизанка, которую мы заслужили…
Нет, шучу. Чем мы такое могли заслужить, чем провинились? 😩
@thor So, you are a cat too now? 😸
@david
Reddish @iska@mstdn.starnix.network installed Guix right on the bathroom floor 🙀
@thor Perhaps him being single is the most scary part. Maybe he'd want to marry you after reading your DMs 😱
@zens@merveilles.town
@oklomsy They also have horrible functionality for data takeout. You start the archival process, but when it's done, it wants you to give them your phone number to actually download it. And it was the main reason for deleting the account in the first place — I didn't want to give them my phone number and without it I couldn't log in most of the time 🤦
In the end I just downloaded everything using fetchmail. GMail is the absolute worst 😩
@oklomsy You are not alone.
I don't think it's bad, I'm afraid I might actually like it. It happened to me before with Fight Club — I didn't like it when it was released, I even hated the poster, like: "Soap? WTF is this?!"
But when second wave of its popularity happened I went with it and might have even contributed to that. It's not the worst movie, but I just can't watch it now as I know all the lines by heart 😅
@volpeon Looks like a character from the game Pyre to me 🤔
@safiuddinkhan@fosstodon.org Even external soundcard will do 😼
Anything really, if it's a tiny bit warmer than room temperature. Mine are well mannered — they know that laptop isn't their sleeping place, but they start doing weird ass shit to get your attention when it's cold anyway. Electric heated rug solves all my cat problems — it does have a noticeable impact on electricity bill, but puts cats to sleep mode almost immediately 😹
@PastaThief Looks like one of those laptop mice — much like regular mice, but smaller 😄
@coolboymew
Zillion does not mean any definite number though, it just means "a lot": https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/zillion
I think this here husband just put a lot of zeroes, didn't even count them and didn't check if this particular number has a name. I see no mistake here, it can be quintillion and "zillion", bazillion and even 🦖gazillion (also not real numbers) at the same time 🤷

@vfrmedia
And I'm not the average person who is into repairing things, I used to hate it, but when I escaped to the country during COVID lockdowns, I found myself enjoying it more and more, I repaired a couple of electric devices and even fixed water piping once. Modern computers are a lost cause though, when you live in the city everyone's in a hurry and it's usually easier to just replace what's broken 😩

@vfrmedia
To be completely just, this is not a purely generational issue. Electronic and electric equipment used to be way more repairable when our parents and us grew up. Most of my computers are a decade or more old and I sometimes open them up even for cleaning, but with most more modern ones this is near-useless — well, unless you're into soldering. Of course there are brands which make repairability a selling point, but it's definitely not mainstream.

Ножи кстати ничего так, лучший сантоку за 600 рублей, что у меня был.
Можно наверное и получше купить, японский за десять тысяч баксов — но это как-нибудь потом 😅

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
