@thor Put OpenWRT on your router if it is supported: openwrt.org/
It has a setting to control TX power.

@neural_meduza По мотивам этой новости можно снять неплохой триллер 😱
Ну и конечно тема пельменей в стороне не осталась.

@cel
That's true! In the 90ies many believed that soon everyone is going to be tech-savvy as kids are born and these technologies are already there and are affordable, but that didn't work out that way at all — most use their smartphones as our parents did kitchen appliances: they know how their apps work, but not much outside that. Nothing changed really, most don't treat computers like magic anymore, but they are still not interested in how tech works.

@haverholm@imaginair.es Oh my, looks like my display's brightness was turned down too much and I did a really bad job getting rid of the bird!
Fixed that, here's version 1.1 😅

@haverholm@imaginair.es Here, have it! Just make it a custom emoji and you are all set 😂

@dmakovec What's wrong with using USB-A to USB-C cables? They'll be plugged into this thing most of the time anyway 🤷

@HebrideanHecate Going to a library instead of a cafe? Oh lord, have mercy upon them 🙏

@mangeurdenuage That's impressive! Looks like food actually isn't getting worse. I was always considered tall with 183.5, but now I'm only a tad bit above average.

@mangeurdenuage Average male height is 180 cm nowadays? 😯

@evelyn
In name only. It is like a decease though 😅

@jonossaseuraava
Maybe he was talking about getting someone addicted to Mars chocolate bars and he delivered, we just don't know who that man is 😅

Yup, it was so simple and straightforward. I can still make a plain html page, but it you look at the source of most pages nowadays, you can't even figure out what's happening in there — even without javasctipt.
When I want to change or hide something in the Firefox UI, it takes me several tries to figure out how to write these CSS descriptors correctly — it's too complicated 😩
@fuuma

@Mek101
Event viewer _might_ have more detailed description, but when you open it, you realize that errors actually happen all the time, like those weird DCOM errors that occur even on a perfectly functional system. In Windows no one sees the logs so if it doesn't BSOD or freeze, it's considered to just work 😄
@getimiskon @inference

@dave This is precisely what I was telling everyone back in 2014, to the ones who were repeating this stupidity: "B-b-but we need Crimea because Black Sea fleet. To deter NATO". This fleet is just sitting ducks for Turkey, a NATO member state, who has a sizeable fleet there that will make short work of the rusty Soviet boats. If anything happened in these waters, this fleet can't even leave without Turkey's approval as they control the straits 🤷

> We all were going to die within 1-2 weeks
I hate time-limited quests! 🤪
