Finally got around to Pixel mapping my friend's Pixelblaze-controlled Christmas tree using @themariday 's video pixel mapping tool (https://github.com/TheMariday/marimapper), and it was fantastic! I could never have mapped the 600 LEDs on this tree without it.
Happy to provide you all slowly your #BSD based free Boxes (VPS instances) after a pause of one week again :)
The small amount of boxes has been provisioned, offering #FreeBSD, #OpenBSD, #NetBSD, #DragonFlyBSD, #MidnightBSD and many more - including #illumos for our #Solaris friends!
Provisioning is #Matrix only and is done by our new Bot. @gyptazy took the time to write and adjust all the things in a great way - #RUNBSD

Also, 13th of December 124 ("Y2K was never a problem!!!").
Also, it is ironic that I cannot start Andrew Batmail graphical mail client because it requires emacs to be installed. :D

Somehow it seems to sit very well in Trump's head according to the recent interview: https://www.reuters.com/world/trump-criticizes-ukraines-use-us-missiles-attacks-deep-into-russia-2024-12-12/
😩

I also have a USB-C cable that works perfectly fine for data transfers, it works at maximum data throughputs, but with this cable I can't charge my phone. At all! It even drains the battery slowly when it remains plugged into the phone. This is beyond broken! 😩

I have a 2024 iPad and I have a Display Dock from 2015 that came with my Lumia phone, I can plug the iPad into it to use external video output, and peripherals, so I can e.g. use the iPad with a TV and a USB keyboard. And it all works with a cable that came with Lumia, but not with the one that came with the iPad. It's not a bad cable, an original Apple one, but somehow it just doesn't work in this configuration 🤯
Firefox ditches Do Not Track because nobody was listening anyway
Few websites actually respect the option, says Mozilla When Firefox 135 is released in February, it'll ship with one less feature: Mozilla plans to remove the Do Not Track toggle from its Privacy and Security settings. …

It's ACAB day (13.12) too 😂

It's best to go to their GitHub releases page and download 4.0.5 instead of 4.0.6 offered on this page, the latter has a nasty bug that keeps flooding the tracker with messaged if it can't connect on IPv6, that's why it's banned on many trackers. The bug is well-known and was files and I think even fixed long time ago, but no one bothered releasing the new build.

These projections sometimes make it easier to understand what's going on: if they are accusing someone of some atrocities — it's a sure sign they are committing those themselves.
@Tony
Maybe you can find a used chair in good condition online. Sometimes they move offices long distance (or close them down) and sell (or throw away if it's broken) furniture instead of paying for moving it.
CAUTION: the new kernel management/backup system has landed in https://github.com/chimera-linux/cports/compare/a40feaf75b9c...b0dd53277ee4
this will result in your most recent kernel before the updated one disappearing due to package hooks going away
also be extra careful everything is intact after upgrade especially if you use out of tree modules (e.g. zfs) and report issues if you run into any
i tried my best to iron out any edge cases, so hopefully i got it all right, but still

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
