Nothing! Being an attractive female on the other hand… Or a rich and powerful male — I suspect at least for some seeking transition that might be a motivation. To their disappointment it's not about gender roles only and switching those won't help.

Besides if settling for the lowest common denominator CFLAGS is okay with you, what is even the point in Gentoo? You might as well use any binary distro — if you want some particular package highly optimised (or built with different configure parameters), even Debian provides you with tools to rebuild any package with customisations. Sure, it won't turn systemd-based distro into systemd-free one, but there are easier ways to solve that too than resorting to Gentoo 🤷

You mean building on one of your machines and using it as source of binaries for all others?
That makes sense, unless you have different USE flags and use different optimisations — quite often the case. Wasn't there a way to use something like distcc to avoid building on the target machine and offload it to the most performant one you have? Coupled with ccache you can avoid the most part of "compiling it again".

She's good — despite me not being a fan of this type of characters.
But I'm usually not a fan of "straight" comedic characters either. Who remembers Natsuki from Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku? Not me!
In Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan the straight character IMO just shines — that is what I mean.

Yeah, that's why I usually wait for the hype to die out before watching and sometimes hyped-up show turns out really good: TBH I expected Bocchi to be much worse and ended up loving it!
But sometimes the show turns out just okay — there are no rules here.

Poor wording. I set my expectations too high — it's Masahiko Outa who set the bar high with his other shows of this type.
It's not bad, but it's pretty mid compared to e.g. Minami-ke, Mitsudomoe, YuruYuri, Love Lab, Gabbie Dropout…

Hey, I didn't even finish watching it!
(Got too drunk circa episode 7 🥴)
TBH I expected it to be way more entertaining than it turned out — maybe I set the bar too high or maybe I've been watching too many school club comedies like that and built a certain tolerance for them.
The highlight for me is the absolutely adorable main character 😍 (not the deer girl) — which is rare for a "straight" comedic character. All other characters are cute, but still rather annoying 😩
