Yeah, for Python autopep8 vim plugin usually gets the shit done, so you don't need any extra hooks. Unless the project is very… idiosyncratic and has its very own set of formatting conventions 😅

AFAIR it can be configured to do that via hooks, but you're right, by default it doesn't do anything but the CR-LF thing

I/O could be a bottleneck, check if a significant portion of CPU is in waiting state rather than idling — if that is the case, PostgreSQL could be just giving you less results rather than any errors. For my instance that is the case and sometimes just retrying the same search query for the second time gives me more results.

Yeah, man — that is true! I used to like Apple and I still use many Apple products, I'm typing this right now on a Mac Pro. But I like nearly nothing about the new Apple, iOS for one is just disgusting! 🤮
(Not compared to Android — stock Android is simply unbearable to look at)
