@romin
Pretty much!
Except for the fighting games, which are okay even if you're just a "casual" games and not into characters.

Nabumetone + acetaminophen/paracetamol? 🤔

@romin
Same — works fine and remained stable for the past year or so.
Having video calls to show cats to mom was nice though… Well, I still have Schildi on my phone for that 🤔
Also authorising new sessions in gomuks is counter-intuitive and sometimes glitchy — I have to close it everywhere but the session I'm using and the new one I'm authorising — otherwise it keeps auto-declining the requests even though it has nothing to do with the session in question.

Nimesubuprofenac — my favourite 🤩

@meduza_unshackled Я бы предложил сразу переименовать в площадь Азиопы — чтобы подчеркнуть разворот избушки ко всему миру жопой 🤪

Okay, so it looks like we're given chance to export room keys using Element in "old" browsers: github.com/element-hq/element-

But that still doesn't look good, I'm not sure I am willing to invest into ecosystem that depends on having the latest-greatest web browser — because this attitude sooner or later boils down to: "Just use Chrome, tehe!"— which is a no-go for me, I'm never using that one or any of the derivatives.

How is the Rust hiring market doing?

It could be better.

I noticed that it's tough for juniors/mid-level devs right now.

If your org is in the market for some Rust devs, send this post around to better understand the Rust job market and what to focus on.

If you're a junior Rust dev looking for a job, keep pushing. The tides will turn.

@kura @kirby
Yes!
OMG, how could I forget that, it's such a widespread term 🤦
I even started remembering that it was translated as something like "forbidden area", but why is it forbidden? It has to be something else 😜
Yes, of course it's absolute territory!

@kirby @kura
Wasn't there a Japanese term for this area with skin exposed? 🤔
They have a word for all sorts of fetishes 😂

@relentless_eduardo
Yeah, just not the one that most were using for music — I had a computer in the nineties and I remember even tape reels, but I didn't know what DATs look like until I got much older, and I knew that tape was used for backups among other things, but I've never seen actual media they use.
Now it's just a cool retro artifact.
I think I even have the streamer device for these somewhere 🤔

@kaia @kura

@iwillbite @solidsanek
That's not a bad angle actually… I can think of way worse ones 😈

@kaia @relentless_eduardo @kura
Now a tough one, WTF is this thing?
I'm pretty sure, some of those old enough to have been using computers when these were still around, don't what these are😅

@istvan
I have a Bluray rip of it and I've had it for years — yet, I always forget to watch it. Thanks for reminding me!

@efi @rq
I'm somewhat from the past when it comes to hardware and I recall being very unpleasantly surprised that it's NOT the norm 😲
I've attempted to remove the remove the battery from a phone with user-replacable battery to avoid its wear — only to find out that it doesn't even turn on without one, even though the charger is plugged in.

Nvidia with Wayland — not so much, even though mine is a pretty old GTX680-based card.
Now I can see what you guys are talking about, with Intel it was seamless — I've never had such issues.
What makes matters even worse, the video card of mine has Mac firmware, no PC one — the one that supports EFI booting on legacy Macs. I suspect it somehow contributes to the issues I have — I still haven't found a way to enable the second display post OS boot.

Turned out it's even easier than I have anticipated — I just renamed the zroot/ROOT/void volume to zroot/ROOT/void-glibc, created a new one — zroot/ROOT/void-musl, bootstrapped it and copied some of the old config files over — literally in matter of minutes.
It turns out zfs isn't supported by linux6.10 — at least in Void, but… who cares 🤷
Otherwise, zfs so far is pretty good! Pretty pretty good 😏
