@kirby As you know, I often use pretty weird architectures, so I see clang crash a lot — and I can almost hear that sound when I'm trying to build things with it.
I've always thought that's exactly why they gave it that name 😅

The more I read about corruption in Russia’s war economy, the more convinced I am that the Kremlin’s next stimulus package could be just one gigantic payment to a single contract soldier trying to avoid death in a trench. The bribes he’d pay would feed the nation.

@tvaughan
Ha-ha-ha, yeah! Your reply didn't propagate to the instance I'm on and for some reason I still don't see it when I open this thread on the instance the original post is on…

It used to be possible to switch it with DISM — at least I could do that with my retail version of Windows 10 Pro, but I'm not sure it works with other editions, especially the OEM ones.

That's good to know! At least some CPUs don't cause crashes all the time! Very reassuring!
God, we're doomed! This industry is fucked! 😱

What about red ones, avoiding being associated with the Soviets? 🤭

A lot of this "doomerism" comes from those who aren't even US citizens — especially with Russia on the move. In Russia the system is broken and inefficient — it doesn't move slowly towards the goal, it's built around these narrow windows of opportunities. Especially with KGB-man at the helm — he doesn't know shit about military or economy, his whole life is a sequence of "special operations" — the whole strategy is built around it, even though there is no real long-term strategy

@Cara
They never do! And we're just confined to be perpetually giving them second chance 😩

Wouldn't it be great if things worked sometimes
