@proedie @moffintosh Another thing that always strikes me about such living conditions, how do they cook? I assume, budget is quite limited if one lives in such "apartment" so you have to do it quite often instead of eating out. Okay, one can get away without proper stove and use something the size of portable gas range, but… My kitchen is bigger than the room in the picture, still, the heat is sometimes hard to stand, if it was smaller, and there were no other rooms, I'd just choke in there.

One of the laptops I use is HP ProBook 430 G1 with Haswell chip, it's already very power efficient and doesn't spin the fans up on my average usage, even with tiny battery, I can squeeze several hours of life out of it. I'm already using lower refresh rate of 40 Hz (for some reason, this refresh rate was not available for some time, but now I can use it again) to save power, it's great that it can be improved even further 👍

@Iamthebammbamm@noagendasocial.com As for Ukraine still having airforce, I think you are both overestimating 🇷🇺 army's capabilities and forgetting that a lot of Soviet equipment was donated to 🇺🇦 by Eastern European countries, true, most of what they had in early 2022 was likely destroyed, but they have received a lot since then to make up for the losses.

That movie, that I have mentioned above, is cheesy, but it was sponsored and supervised by MoD of Russian Federation, they have to think it's not unimaginable if such a detail comes up 🤷

@Iamthebammbamm@noagendasocial.com I'm no military engineer and of course I didn't perform any tests personally, but I think that S300's damage is close to that of a shotgun is an overstatement, it should have some shrapnel-like elements capaple of inflicting damage of a pretty large area so it would damage the body of a fighter, I guess the damage to non-reinforced civilian structure should still be significant.

It's ineffective, but it still causes damage, and now that they are running out of more specialized ammunition, it shouldn't even be so uncommon.
Fun fact: in a 2015 propaganda movie "Crimea" they are mentioning using S300 launch against ground target as provocation 😂

Even now as the bombs are falling, Macron is talking about how the US are preventing him from carrying out "independent" European policy and how he, together with China, is going to work forward "peace talks". What is he talking about? Looks like he's still ready to give up Ukraine to return to business as usual🤨

@randahl Everyone knows what's happening now in Ukraine, but was what happened earlier not enough? Was shooting down civilian plane not enough? Was what was happening in Syria not enough? And there was an attempted Kazakhstan incursion just a month before the Ukraine invasion started, no one seems to even remember that now. But no, everyone was happy with cheap gas.
