@DotardTed What he says about equipment is laughable. Remember the photos Ukrainians uploaded in March of what captured Russian soldiers had on them: expired food rations and maps from the 80ies. And this was real army, what was called "elite" regiments. I can imagine the equipment that draftees use now. Even if they buy it themselves beforehand, I'm pretty sure most of it gets stolen in the process — by the time they get to the frontline, they probably look like scavengers from Mad Max movies.

APE is fine — it's Monkey Audio lossless codec, rarely used nowadays, but you can convert it to anything and keep the original quality.

I think it might have worked with .torrent-file as data is downloaded from peers anyway, but if it's a magnet link it knows nothing about data and has nowhere to download the metadata from 🤷
