Can't you turn this off? Even if you can, it's awful, I can't imagine anyone who would like such notifications — looks like they've made it the default just to make everyone aware that this feature is there.

My Deathadder has kicked the bucket, first going for doubleclick on the left button and then for no click.
The cheap phone strategy worked quite well for me, why not give cheap mice a try? I had a huge discount on this rodent — Microsoft Ergonomic Mouse that is, got it for less than $10, MS store lists it at $40. It's nice, but the cable is not braided and the sensor is awful, certain area of my mousepad that makes it go crazy. Maybe I should use old wireless Lancehead that turned wired instead🤷

А если серьёзно — бесценный кадр. Например, я не знал, что в питоне есть sched и, когда мне нужно было, начал писать планировщик сам — представляю какой адок был брать меня на работу с меньшим опытом. Вместо того, чтобы решать поставленные задачи, я писал то, что нужно для решения вместо того, чтобы посмотреть что уже есть. При чём так, чтобы можно было повторно использовать, учитывая максимально общие сценарии использования.

@thor Oh, feck it! It's not like you're obliged to anyone to do certain things at certain age and we live longer than we used to.
Just do whatever you get your kicks from, put it on hold whenever you like and feel free to revisit it when you feel the urge to express yourself creatively — but again, don't feel obliged to make anyone like the product.
Yeah-yeah, I know we all have to make a living at this age, but don't over-analyze it — it won't make you a happy person, just take your own pace.

@thor This may seem rational, but it may be sort of a mid-life crisis. You don't get the usual thrills from doing same things you're into — pure chemistry in your brain.
But this doesn't of course mean that you should carry on because being into creative stuff seems good on paper. If you're only into it for money, love and attention, there are other ways to achieve that, maybe it's time to reassess 🤷
