@inhosin Вряд ли. Скорее всего это очередная пугалка, чтобы все сидели тихо и не выступали. Самое большое зло, на которое они пойдут — будут хватать молодёжь из неблагополучных городков. Гнать воевать жителей больших городов, которые никогда не воевали, и не хотят этого делать, но при этом прекрасно понимают суть происходящего — так себе затея 🤷

На втором ещё параметр ограничения количества фондовых процессов из настроек разработчика, можно попробовать и его изменить.
И мне кажется, что 6 гигабайт — достаточно много, у меня 8, но я ни разу не видел, чтобы использовалось более четырёх. С другой стороны, у меня и установленные приложения можно по пальцам пересчитать 🤷

Sometimes it's better to leave it at that. Sure vim can be turned into a full-featured IDE, but sometimes that nice file browser and tagbar, autocompletion and spellchecker just take time to load. I often start it with an empty config just to be able to move around quickly, especially if I'm over ssh.

@thor Yep, that's exactly how pity works: putting the one you express it for beneath you. It's also very exploitable by manipulative persons, so I think pity is bad.
For me this also won't work, I think we are very alike in our outlook.
But for some — it might. Not pity, but telling them nothing's wrong with them and everything is alright. Just to stop them wallowing in their dark thoughts.

They shouldn't pity you or tell you what to do, but they should support you if you want to do something yourself. Just being around is sometimes the best strategy 🤷
