@iska@mk.starnix.network There are breeds like this, they are called bobtails. There are big wild cats like this too, take lynx for example.
In fact, they aren't completely tailless, but have really short tails.
The one on the right in my photo has a short tail, like three inches, the one on the left doesn't have any at all, only a bump. This is considered a defect, this breed has very delicate genetics and sometimes this happens, but he's a great cat all around and I love him.

@iska@mk.starnix.network The breed of my cats, which is basically Siamese cat without tail, can have this type of fur coat. But mine don't, they've chosen the light side 😺

And Elephant Tree ( https://elephanttreeband.bandcamp.com/album/elephant-tree ) — they are just awesome, they have the spirit of old-school rock music, but sound modern at the same time!
I wonder though, what do actual British people listen to if they had to choose something British, but not that well-known outside UK, and that was released not that long ago? 🤔

@Rezard Если честно, не знаю. В последнее время если пил квас — то из Вкусвилла. Там хороший, и производители не те же, что обычно пиво поставляют, так что вряд ли.
Но я допускаю, что и такое практикуется.
В конце концов, сухарики с пизд^W^Wсо вкусом рыбки, тоже вряд ли из отборной рыбы производят 🤭

I hate using browser to watch Youtube-videos and prefer ffmpeg to any GUI-tool if I need to trim or downscale video — so easy once you learn the syntax. And mpv was the best video player for Mac OS X at the time.
Of course, you can get those as .pkg-files, but with Homebrew, you can update those easily and you can rollback to the old version if something goes wrong. So why not?

Yes, that is exactly what I did most of the time. ffmpeg in Homebrew in particular had some weird defaults that brought in a lot of dependencies and I was trying to avoid that.

That's the philosophy I try to follow — if the OS already has some means to do it, I'd rather use those, but I just can't live without some things like youtube-dl and ffmpeg.
