There is a lot of history in this one camp and the city could have non-violently offered people even 6 months of motel or apartment and people would have moved, instead the city offered NOTHING, i have been begging reporters to not repeat the city's lies about there being "adequate safe shelter space" people have chosen to stay outside in negative 20 degree F weather rather than go into that "adequate safe shelter space" and temporary shelter is no replacement for a long-term camp
