An example of moral relativism; while it was moral to resign, it would have been more moral to resign the Amazon post.

One thing we need to recognize post-pandemic is that we really don't need to travel as much for business reasons. Telecommute jobs should stay as such; business air travel should be mostly eliminated in favor ofremote options. The caution with remote options is that workers should refuse to allow productivity tracking devices aimed at punitive control, but most of our capitalistic productivity advances revolve around a lack of trust. We have a long way to go on this.

Bored with first impressions and reviews of Librem 5; all are now irrelevant until mine arrives, and by that time everyone will be bored with unpacking videos, etc.

This is different than news on advances in development and delivery of the Librem 5. The technology is still very interesting.

Saw a job ad today with so many different responsibilities listed, that it was hard to determine the actual job. Is this a sign of HR/management cluelessness, a commentary on the rise of generalization in software, or a call to do more with less? IAC, probably a red flag about a burnout company.

After fighting the OS wars, I'm resigned to the fact that most people don't care about the evil inherent in big tech. Just try to survive off the leavings and take pride in pyrrhic victories. Us former OS/2, Amiga, and Atari users are the former (Firefly universe) Browncoats of today.
