My dad died yesterday.

He was 65 and had become a hero to me. A few months back, when we almost lost my wife and newborn son, my dad came and stayed with us. He took care of my kids -- kept them fed and feeling loved -- while I was taking care of things in the hospitals.

He dropped everything for a month... to make sure he was there for me and our kids.

When I needed help more than any other time in my life... he was there. And he was amazing.

I love you, dad.

Your story reinforce my point of view about family

Good to hear those kind of human values nowadays ✊

@lunduke I wish that there was something to say but words seem inadequate. Know that your online family grieves with you especially for one who died so young. Your faith and your friends will help you through this

@lunduke I’m sorry to hear that your father passed. Though I can’t imagine how hard things were a few months back, it sounds like it provided a great opportunity to build fond memories with your dad in his last months.

Thank you for your positivity before the difficult life events you’ve experienced lately. All my best to you and your family. Good vibes, prayers if those are welcome.

And thanks for the joy you bring to all your public work. I hope we’re able to send some of that back your way.

@lunduke Condolences to you and your family. I also lost a close family member a few months back. Those who pass on still live on through the impact and memories they made with those around them. Sounds like your dad was an amazing guy and made a really positive impact in your life. Hope you can take the time you need to work through everything.

@lunduke so sorry to hear that, Richard. Condolences from an internet stranger.

@lunduke my sincerest condolences to you and your whole family Bryan. You will be in my thoughts

@lunduke sorry to hear this, condolences. We wish you the best of luck in these hard times.

@lunduke Sending hugs from all the humans and of course the goats. Can not imagine the pain you are in right now.

@lunduke
Your words are very touching. You have my condolences. Sounds like he was a great guy. All the best to you and your family.

@lunduke Oh, that's sad, just cheer up Bryan.

I'm not really a religious person, I can't give you quite good advice on that way, but if you trust your beliefs, they may be reality.

@lunduke so sorry for your loss:( Sounds like he was great and kind man.
