@lunduke I would prefer microsoft ceased to exist or really open sourced all their software (GPL) not just their calc, and stuff they have to work with because the cloud is *nix.

As for features from one to another. I'll go by exclusion. None of the spyware features from win10 to GNU/Linux

@lunduke it's been so long since I've used windows I'm not sure what features it has that I would find useful. Unless game support is a feature in which case that, but that already seems to be changing.

@lunduke what can windows do that linux can't other than gaming? :O
All i know is windows' file explorer can't even use ftp to create and edit files.. :S

@lunduke for one, first class monitor configuration support. xrandr is baaaaad.
@lunduke I've been out for two years. I don't miss anything from Windows anymore. I still fix Windows machines for customers though, and can't say that anything in the current iteration of Windows impresses me.
