The Librem 5 smartphone team has been hard at work, and we want to update you all on our software progress.
Including: LibHandy, Calls, Encrypted messaging, patches going upstream, Mesa, Documentation, and... Quake II. Seriously.
As we approach the release of the Librem 5 smartphone (Q3 of 2019), we're going to take a look at 1 application (or game, or feature) running on the Librem 5 Development Kit every single day.
Starting with something fun:
Day 1 - AisleRiot Solitaire

Interesting video on how Google tracks phones... pretty much everywhere.
You are tracked even if you have no SIM card, are in Airplane mode, and have not set up any WiFi networks. Once you connect to the internet, everywhere you have been is uploaded.
Just incase anyone is worried about app support on the upcoming @purism Librem 5 or @PINE64 PinePhone for services like Uber, your banking app, or many more, MANY of these services have fully functional web based apps you can use right on your web browser app!!
