@kop316 I use them all the time! In particular I will use the wifi kill switch whenever I leave the house as a quick and easy way to save battery.

This is the main reason I am considering springing $1300+ on a Librem 5. I currently use a #Pinephone but the lack of (actually useful) killswitches makes me long for something better.
@blendergeek @kop316 @agx Yeah while I think it's great PP has it as an option at all, having them all accessible on the side so they can be triggered quickly, even w/o looking, makes them incredibly useful and makes you more likely to use them. The only time I actually use a software switch is if I want to switch off part of something controlled by a HKS (disable WiFi but keep BT).
Another good reason to buy an L5 is that you are supporting the development of Mobile Linux. Purism pays for a full time engineers to develop for mobile linux!
@kop316 @blendergeek @kyle @agx There are plenty of good reasons to buy #Librem5, and now as a happy owner of #MNTreform laptop I can only confirm a good choice of hardware (I was a bit skeptical about it comparing to Rpi3B+ of a similar architecture) is just yet another one. It's not getting old/obsolete, merely seasoned.

Yeah, I'm def more a fan of the #PinePhonePro, but I'd love it if they used external, physical kill switches like the #Librem5.
@kyle @agx
Yeah I use them all the time, the WiFi for the same reason (to save battery). I also just like knowing that the camera and mics are off.
