A question for listeners. Where you you listen to podcasts? In the car, office, home, gym? What’s your preferred app? Do you usually subscribe or do you listen to individual episodes? Thanks!

@katherined I've been using and enjoying AntennaPod for some time and just noticed that they're also here on Mastodon at @AntennaPod.

Interesting episodes go into my queue so I can listen to them while driving or when I have time to listen.

@katherined I use gpodder and tend to listen to short daily news podcasts in the morning or after work, but normally only listen to longer form podcasts when I am doing a task that doesn't need the language part of my brain, like weaving or long drives.

I listened to a lot more long form podcasts when I had a long commute.

@katherined I listen while commuting but mostly in home office. My favourite player is AntennaPod from the FDroid repo. I try to listen to most of them but from some sources only occasionally.

@katherined at home while cooking or doing chores; podcast guru; I have a list of half a dozen podcasts and hand pick episodes from them as needed

@katherined
1. Always in the car and shower/shaving.
2. Pocket Casts
3. Usually Subscribe but will listen to ad-hoc podcasts if I hear of something very interesting, or I've run dry on subscribed #podcasts.

@katherined I sometimes listen at home, usually in the kitchen, or while walking to and from work. I usually listen to Reality 2.0 while making/eating supper, using Podcast Addict on my Android phone. Just about everything is subscriptions.

@jzitt thank you! (And thanks for listening to Reality 2.0 😁)

@katherined walking or driving or biking (using shokz open-ear headphones). Just use the google app and I do usually subscribe unless someone recommends a single episode from a podcast and I don't care about the ongoing subject.

@katherined Currently:
- Pocket casts mobile app
- Subscribe
- In bed before going to sleep, in kitchen when preparing meal and when walking. (Problem with in bed listening is that I do fall asleep! Walking - I prefer listen to the surrounding but when I really want to catch up it is a good alternative)
