It's Facebook as a company that locks everything down and doesn't allow people outside its system to communicate. It's this makes it really hard to actually communicate with anyone.
I don't understand why people would use such unethical services...

Nobody's heard of "Matrix", nobody's heard of "Mastodon", and most people don't want to hear about it.
It looks to them like you're trying to isolate yourself, while all along you're actually trying to improve the freedom of your conversations!
It's so difficult to maintain genuine connections...

Y'know what's hard about exclusivey using free software?
Communication.
Everyone's on services like Facebook, but they don't understand the depravity of Facebook. I understand it's for the betterment of others, to show that we respect them, but it's really hard not being to talk to such a wide group of people, including so many friends.

But I'm super enjoying it 😁 it's so convenient!
