I don't think it's bad to accept corporate sponsor money - especially for events. But advertising for them while I walk around is too much. If you're a community event organizer, and creating an event-related t-shirt, I encourage you to consider not offering "logo on t-shirt" as a sponsor perk. They'll sponsor you anyway.
