The latest Field Notes ("Lucky") work pretty well with . Not the best for showing ink properties of course, but that's because it soaks in immediately and without feathering or noticeable show-through. And that's great, because it means 0 problems with smearing. I've been using a LAMY 2000 F with Diamine Velvet Emerald and now Teranishi Smoky Navy. Line width is a bit inflated but still clean.

Finished Accabadora by Michaela Murgia -- thanks @zacchiro . Started The City and Its Uncertain Walls by Murakami -- multiple mentions of in the first 30 pages and echoes of Invisible Cities so of course I'm happy.

I think perhaps we have enough with "Nebula" in the name.

I'm learning too late that I could've stacked the Pacific Northwest Pen Show this weekend (pnwpenshow.com/) and (2023.fossy.us) afterward to make for a doubly awesome week in Portland. Only FOSSY this year, but next year, hopefully both!

Sailor Shikiori Yodaki is a great ink match for this Sailor 1911S Fried Egg Jellyfish. Yes I said those words and yes they are about a pen.

Received one of the new Endless Creator retractable
a couple days ago.

Not a luxurious item -- feels...inexpensive. Also the knock is on crooked / bent / not flush to the barrel which is not a great look and leads to a weird noise when clicked. The hexagonal grip with the clip taking up a facet is a bold "there's only one right way to write" statement.

*But* the nib (most important part) exceeds my expectations and I'm enjoying writing with it. Inked with Robert Oster Whiskey.

I appreciate the warning on Colorverse NASA Blue ink: "Avoid direct sunlight; keep out of children." Okay!

Dry time with Kakimori pigmented ink on Regalia paper is unfortunately untenable. Two great things that don't go great together.
