I mean. Not being able to have anti cheat working on Linux is the actual reason why I love Linux.

Anticheat is literraly malware in essence. It's an obscure piece of sotfware that sniffs everything and requires your OS to be able to tell you "No".

Well I say "No" to any dumb games that requires client side malware to prevent cheating,

This is strange, in the past with other staff members that are no longer there. You could have your account deleted at your request.

I should know because I was one of those staff members.

Here is an example of a forum account I deleted at the persons request, when I was there.

So this policy is new. And in place sometime in the last 5 months.

But there are precedents.

Looks like my old patch for workarounding Electron/Chromium bugs in Squeekboard (inspired by a solution used by Gamescope) has been finally merged and released in v1.42.1. It used to exacerbate another preexisting issue, but it now got fixed too. No more randomly broken keys in poorly behaving apps! 😌
