During the summer Radically Open Security performed a security audit of Fractal as part of the NLnet grant.
The results can be found over here https://blogs.gnome.org/jsparber/2022/09/27/fractal-security-audit/
We just published the first tagged alpha release of Fractal.
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/fractal/-/releases/5-alpha1
This doesn't change how we publish Fractal builds and it's still only available on GNOME Nightly.

This is what happens when you apply demosaicing to your build log. That's what image processing work for #libcamera looks like.
Since a glib update in Debian yesterday, phosh seems to like to crash a lot. This is likely caused by a deprecation of functionality in glib and caused https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phosh/-/issues/840 . This was fixed like an hour ago in phosh 0.21.0-2, so do not despair.
To follow up on the #phosh breakage due to a glib update: Mobian has a fixed phosh version 0.21.0-2~mobian1 up now. It should be safe to upgrade again.
It will take a few days until the fixed version will arrive in Debian testing.

@spaetz my favorite password snafu was when my bank changed their online interface and system, for online banking and in the process reduced the number of chars in a password that they supported to 20.
My password was over 50 chars. So I was locked out because the new system did not supported that.
@spaetz for the lulz, do they also don't support passwords larger than 32 chars?
