The latest round of #Fosstodon donations have gone out.
Thank you, everyone!
@fosstodon Thank you all for voting on us! We're honored to receive the praise you're giving us and we're going to continue to liberate smartphones and give them a new life for years to come!
You can generate invitations to Mastodon by clicking "Invite people" in the bottom left corner of the screen.
This will invite people to your instance and optionally make them automatically follow you.
You can set the invitation to have a limited number of uses and/or expiry date, or have these both unlimited.
(Some instances which are officially closed to new members still allow sign-ups through such invitations.)

A snapped application to make installation of appimages easier. Quick, someone make an appimage of flatpak, to complete the set! #GottaCatchEmAll https://snapcraft.io/appimageinstaller
@popey well you already have Flatpaks (and likely snaps) packages of Electron apps, that thing that is suppoded to be cross platform.
Someday someone will make an Electron app, inside a flatpak that is inside a spap which is inside docker containers.
'cause, why not...
@martijnbraam took like 30 min. It helped that your app does not have many dependencies and it was easy to find them.
There are several tools to automomate deb packaging. And to automagically create boilerplate templates that you just need to adjust.
@martijnbraam For the Lulz of it, I packged it as DEB. It was quite simple to do.
@martijnbraam And kudos on the round corners
@martijnbraam Any plans to support FedEx and DHL?

I remember I learned how to chroot into a system to repair it, because of one of these magical updates, in a bleeding edge distro.
My case was Arch
