To this day, "Universal background checks" would not have prevented a single mass shooting. Every single gun that has been used in a mass shooting has either been purchased legally by someone going through it current background check process, or the gun was already illegally aquired (mostly through theft).
How is it that none of the Democrats "common sense" reforms actually focus on anything that would have prevented any of the previous mass shootings?

Despite the sensationalism in the news, gun violence is actually declining in America and it is doing so without adding any new laws.
Red flag laws force otherwise law abiding citizens to prove their innocence in order to continue exercising their constitutional rights. They effectively become guilty until proven innocent. This isnt a common sense reform. This is the government invading someone's home and depriving them of rights despite them not having committed a come.
User empowerment is the best tool to curb online harassment.
