I've thought about putting the money in savings. (I'm currently trying to save every dollar that I can until we get out of this economic crises that shouldn't have ever happened.)
I've also thought about using it to pay extra on my house. (My goal is to have my house paid off next year.)
I've also thought about just never cashing the check, but I'm not sure it's wise to leave the money in the hands of people who mismanage money the way the government does.

For the last several weeks I have been trying to decide what to do with my government stimulus (welfare) check. I was completely against sending $1200 to every American. It's incredibly bad fiscal policy and we are already in tremendous debt as it is.
As of yet, I have not even cashed the check because I haven't wanted to be part of the problem. Why cash a check, even if I can use the money if it is going to add to the problems our country is facing.
