This is not true. I am on librem social and I can search for and find gab users without issues.

Oh, I misunderstood. I don't have a gab account and don't really feel like creating one simply for the purpose of testing, so I will have to take your word for it. It does seem to go against librem's stated philosophy to block someone like that though.
