The new Fitbit Sense looks incredible. Fitbit probably is getting one more device purchase from me before Google’s acquisition, which I still hope comes with government stipulation that health data always remain separate from its ad targeting data.

Mozilla's new products are upsells that people purchase to go along with the reason they're buying anything in the first place.

Upsells typically increase margin, only in Mozilla's case, it's the only source of revenue from users. Margin on upsells typically is greater, which would help Mozilla be less dependent on Goog.

“13 Reasons Why” S4 was rough. Given finale, I would not recommend the series beyond first season. Lots of bi and gay representation and CBT techniques written in, but writers shoved in every tragedy possible at the end and police brutality handled as “just a few bad apples”.

Used a VPN I already prepaid a year for to subscribe to Mozilla VPN since it’s not available yet in the EU. This and a Pocket Premium subscription are the only ways to support Mozilla Inc (not Foundation) that I know of, so I’m doing it.

In May and June 2020 we found and removed a group of Tor exit relays that were messing with exit traffic. They left almost all exit traffic alone, and we don't know whether any users were successfully attacked.

@rysiek @rmdes Quite the opposite. Mozilla is a bad business that had to make the hard choice to layoff people to survive, but Mozilla is an excellent open source collaborator. They need us more than ever. No need to fork.
