A #selfie of me wearing an #OpenSourceSummit t-shirt from last year's event in #Lyon - "Open mind, open heart, open source". Hey, sounds like my bio description :)

And I'm also a Leo...

I set up a Fosstodon account and noticed that there isn't an option to re-upload my toots and other data from this tarball, only a subset of my data (which I actually need to export as the CSV). Am I missing something? Would hate to lose out on all my posts.

Join us at the #virtual #RedHat Summit, April 28-29 (starting today at 09:00 EDT). I'll be in #Community Central - Automation & Management (check the "Explore" tab). Register for free to participate: redhat.com/en/summit

Getting more likes on Pixelfed than on Instagram for the first time, nice

@jameshjacksonjr

good to hear you're doing fine. take care!

and yeah, while there is definitely value in face-to-face interaction, maybe the focus can be more on local gatherings to foster stronger local/regional communities. and use online/virtual tech to bring the numerous smaller local communities together. thus travel is kept to a minimum (also good for the environment) but the reach can still be global. like a hybrid virtual/F2F conference.

Privacy and protecting data is usually not much of a concern for SAAS providers - Zoom here shares your data on Facebook, even if you don't have a facebook account...

@keithzg don't know what you mean with 'imperfect'.

I use my first type #Jolla for five years now, with still updated #SailfishOS and it works *perfect*, and indeed ssh, scp and rsync are great to transfer files from my main *BSD box.

I don't use the Android layer, only native apps. I don't need apps when there is a website.

when you use a smartphone to do some tiny things on the road, it just servers well! a smartphone isn't a replacement for a UTP connected power box. never meant to be.

My mom died today. I loved my mom and I am going to miss her.
