@finlaydag33k @Billie im a gomuks user on linux laptop and have a dumbphone so no matrix on my phone

@jinxed@mastodon.social what dont you like about mudita formfactor?

@jinxed@mastodon.social see customised android on the light phone vs the other phone the mudita pure uses a lightweight free as in freedom RTOS (real time OS) thats open source and its under a GPLv3 license i feel the community can make more tools and things we need with it being open source vs using the light phone 2s custom android OS

@jinxed@mastodon.social yeah i have one on preorder due to the open source im a big proponent of the open source model the light phone 2 im passing on to a friend once i get the mudita pure the light phone 2 actually uses android 8.1 not only android. But an old version of android

@jinxed@mastodon.social yeah the eink was a strong reason for me too there is a SDK coming soon so anyone can make tools for the device soon and im sure email will be one of them i may take a stab at the SDK my self make a few tools

@jinxed@mastodon.social nice congrats i know you will like yours and to me its better doing FOSS linux type tasks on my pinebook pro laptop

@jinxed@mastodon.social its working out real well best decision i have made for my mental health when out and about i like being present and in the moment not with my head buried in a smartphone screen the whole time.

“Reports say from the 1990s, the US Air Force had a project codenamed ‘Hello’ to see if microwaves could create disturbing sounds in people's heads, one called ‘Goodbye’ to test their use for crowd control, and one codenamed ‘Goodnight’ to see if they could be used to kill people.”

And then you wonder why people come up with conspiracy theories.
