My dudes, Telegram is not an e2e messaging app like Signal or WhatsApp. Telegram is more like Twitter. It is a social media app that is mostly public content that also happens to have DMs, where you can turn on e2e messaging with questionable cryptography that most people never even bother to use.

If you’re outside the US and looking at our election in abject horror, one legit thing you can do is talk to any American friends in election swing states and make sure they checked they haven’t been purged from voter registration and intend to vote. It’s their votes that really count much more than say, mine. Republican donors have made a huge financial push to only register a certain angry, fascist demographic there. I know it sounds crazy, but that’s what we are dealing with.
