The Hypnotix IPTV player, developed by the Linux Mint team is good. Far from all IPTV streams works well (they are based on lists that always needs to be maintaned). But for example CNN works normally very well. A friends friend use Windows 8.1 on his/her computer. It will not be supported anymore and is told to upgrade to Windows 11. But the computer cannot manage Windows 11.

So my friend has convinced and will assist to install to try Linux Mint 21.1 instead!
