@francois @purism As a company that promotes , it would be cool if you would get on LBRY.

@afranke @sudo @purism I agree with that. There are many freedom respecting platforms for videos and we should be on one at least.

@francois Thats so great to have the ability to just turn off 4G and other stuff by switching it off. It's that simple. Can't wait to get mine <3

@codiflow
Just get the pinephone. You'll likely get it sooner if you're just wanting to test out a Linux phone.

@codiflow
Awesome! I have one on pre order now. I can't wait to try it out. Was hopeful to load UB ports in a VM to try but I couldn't figure that out.
@francois

@We_are_PSU @codiflow the Librem 5 goes a step further for those who want to own their privacy. The kill-switches are convenient and the hardware has been designed to fully isolate the potentially tracking components with the modem card and the wifi/bt card being daughter boards. This also makes the Librem 5 the most modular smartphone out there. On top of that, we are investing so much in making this a public belonging technology. It takes time and effort but we will get there.

@francois
Thanks. Definitely an ambitious and important effort. I heard about the daughter boards before which supposedly was why the librem 5 is as thick as it is. I'm excited to see the consumer ready version of the phone when it comes out. Good stuff.
