It depends on the model, but the Yubikey 5ci, for example, supports "Secure Static Passwords". That is Yubi-speak for "you can set it to any passphrase you like". They provide a utility app for setting it.

If your threat model is such that physical access is unlikely, you could put the master password on a #yubikey.

On time starts, I roll with muckroot diet until ranching takes over. Plants are a pain in cold. Hatch & vole eggs are gold. I dig down for CO2, but also up to see regolith, and increase chances of vole egg care package. YMMV, enjoy!
