I find I'm having to turn to Twitter to find resources / people in the field of (). Are there dedicated spaces / people in the Fediverse who are students / experts in the field and might be able to give pointers to a youngster who just graduated with a degree? @VeryBadLlama The French anthem has been a shame for many in France for at least a century.

Jaurès described it as "atrocious" in 1903. My own grandma never failed to add a rhyme at then end: "bande de cons" (lit. "bunch of twats").

A collective was put together in 1992 to find alternative lyrics.

Conservatives have made it into such a sensitive issue that it's difficult even to raise the subject.
