On Wednesday I was able to ride a tram from the 1930 while eating Treberwurst, a local specialty. The vehicle was used in Bern from 1935 until 1973, and was eventually turned into a mobile restaurant. Definitely a great experience!

TIL that #Alexandria (EG) operates the oldest tramline in the #MiddleEast and #Africa. Operations started on January 8th, 1863.
It is also one of the very few networks that uses double-deck cars.
