One idea for videos is to throw up a PeerTube instance, I tried that myself and found it was fairly easy.

I imagine it will be like an animal trying to survive by eating its own feces. After a few cycles of that, there is not much more to gain.

@Jeremiah I'm not sure if I understand this right, but I would not be surprised if you can get along fine without paying for any special "transactional email" service.

If your MX goes to e.g. Fastmail, I think you can still send email from your own server somewhere if you add the other sending IP in the SPF record for your domain, thereby telling the world that legitimate emails can also come from that IP. Then you can send your emails yourself from your own server in whatever way you want.

@glen_malley I think Pippi Longstocking had the right idea here: just help the police. She collected some bad guys, tied them up, then called the police (from a beautiful phone booth which existed in those days) to let the police know where the villains could be picked up.

This was during Pippi's visit to Stockholm, she left them on "Floras kulle" which is in the Humlegården park.

@hjartberg vi provade precis här hemma också, men efter några stycken våfflor slog jordfelsbrytaren till, plötsligt mörkt i lägenheten 🙂 försökte igen men samma sak hände igen, det är något knas med våffeljärnet.

@hjartberg Ser gott ut! Kör på bara, det tar kanske ett tag för våffeljärnet att bli riktigt varmt. Jag tippar att våffla nummer 10 kommer att gå mycket snabbare. 🙂

En fördel skulle vara också att när det är förhållandevis liten mängd pengar i ett sånt lokalt system blir det inte särskilt intressant att attackera det.
