@itsfoss Lutris is good enough for me.
@max @scvalex @fasterthanlime A compiler/linter could warn about Unicode homoglyphs, like Rust's compiler does.
@itsfoss Actually the upstream xz is to blame, DEB and RPM distros are affected.
@itsfoss Here's some hot news for you: xz in Fedora Rawhide contains malware.

@Paul_stilgar @noelreports There are reasons not to do it:
1. Falling debris of cruise missile or AA missile could kill someone.
2. You can't shoot things down when the airspace is not closed. Let's leave shooting down civilian aircraft to 🇷🇺.
3. No one has 100% AD coverage, not even 🇮🇱. 🇵🇱 GBAD is in a terrible state. It was already badly outdated before the war and then a lot (most?) of it was sent to Ukraine. F-16 couldn't get there in 39s.
4. 🇷🇺 would learn wartime modes of NATO radars/rockets.
@lennart @kallekn @noelreports Yup, it was Peskov who said that.
@NMBA @noelreports They bought those shells from other countries, likely on different continents. They have to be transported to Czechia first, likely inspected and only then shipped to Ukraine. I suspect right now they are still in the countries who sold them.
@urwumpe @noelreports I think the drone wanted them to get close to each other (maybe even lined up) before triggering the airburst.
And there are cases of drones taking prisoners, but they were recon or grenade dropping drones, not FPV kamikaze drones like this one.
But yeah, I don't find it funny either.
@noelreports His nickname is Penis Dushilin.
@littletree @noelreports I assume diversion-reconnaisance group. So he's saying that these aren't just small recon/sabotage/hit-and-run groups, but something bigger is going on.
@morten_skaaning @noelreports Some EU countries insisted that EU funds can only be used for buying EU-made shells. The Czech shell importing scheme is thus done outside of EU structures.
@noelreports Shoigu! Ammo! Where is Gerasimov?!
@noelreports As far as I understand it, mission planning for Taurus is very complicated and most likely Germany would have to do it itself. The problem is that Scholz considers this too much of an involvement in the war. But from what I understand, the British had to do something similar set up for Storm Shadows, so why is it such a big deal?
@LALegault @helgenug @noelreports
He didn't speak on behalf of NATO. He said what he thinks about NATO involvement, not what NATO thinks about it.
And while actually sending troops might not be the best idea, keeping Putin unsure about what NATO might do is a good idea.
@noelreports Pope unfortunately doesn't understand Russia. Any peace that Russia willingly agrees to is only an interlude aimed at allowing Russia to re-arm and attack again. To achieve more stable peace, Russia must be in the losing position and the sanctions must be kept. Even that is not a guarantee of a long-term peace. The only way to guarantee a long-term peace is for Russia to stop being a colonialist and imperialist dictatorship.
@kevinmirsky @jonny Another good source of fakes is Obvious Plant. I'm always amazed at how many people believe their products are real toys.
@itsfoss For Android, there's Calendula. It's open-source and useful, though it has minor bugs. It has a feature where you can add medicines from an official database, but the database only covers one or two countries (Spain I think?). You can even scan the medicine barcode instead of searching for it in the database, but as I live in a different country, this didn't work.
@nazokiyoubinbou @itsfoss I'm not into AI, but it seems like the weights are available for download: https://github.com/google-deepmind/gemma#downloading-the-models
