@itsfoss @protonprivacy Since it's running locally, I don't have a problem with it. I'm not sure how useful it would be though.
@itsfoss Arch is quite boring nowadays and that's good.
@noelreports They look malnourished.
@noelreports What video did Azov publish?
@pastor @panoptykon Można samodzielnie hostować serwer analityki, np. Matomo.
@Hawaii @eff @cooperq @theverge GrapheneOS is a security-focused alternative smartphone operating system (Android variant), which claims to protect against Cellebrite (among other threats). Currently it only supports several Google Pixel devices; its developers say that it's because most other manufacturers don't take security seriously enough and often apply only the bare minimum of security patches.
@purism I have no idea who is the target customer, but probably not your existing laptop/tablet/smartphone user base.
@cuchaz Preventing ad companies from tracking each user would be great. The problem is that you need to trust the aggregation service (which doesn't get any personal data, but still gets ad visibility and site conversion data).
@itsfoss It's opt-in, so I don't mind it, but feels kinda useless. Could be more useful if it supported running the models locally.
@Walter8100000 @noelreports Poland still has a lot of Soviet-era equipment in active service. Tanks, IFVs, helicopters and more... It's trying to replace them, but it takes time and money.
@noelreports Doesn't BNR stand for the "Belgorod People's Republic" meme?
@urwumpe @noelreports Soldiers do, but regular people don't. This was on TV, so aimed at the latter.
@margual56 @edri Platforms can still offer ads that are contextually relevant, for example, yarn ads when browsing crocheting content.
@t3sserakt @eff @Taler Interesting, thanks for info.
@BogLoper @noelreports NATO did not invade those countries, nor did it force them to join. Those countries wanted to join themselves. They spent considerable efforts to even be allowed to join. Other countries are still begging to be let into NATO and yet NATO doesn't let them join.
If Canada or Mexico want to join CSTO, they are free to do it. They are sovereign countries. If US doesn't like it, too bad for US. US is not some kind of moral authority, their actions don't determine what's good.
@fsfe 200 IQ move. Next time they should try "Apple is not a company, so laws don't apply to us".
@Methylcobalamin @noelreports I hope it's some disinfectant. I know iodine leaves stains on the skin, though of a different color.
@itsfoss Feral's Game Mode sounds useful, I have to try it someday. Some launchers like Lutris automatically enable it when you launch a game.
