@spaceluciolle I have the Flip Mini clock. There is no light and you just tap the top to see the backlight light. Tap to snooze the alarm and flip to turn off. I like it.

Another #OpenStreetMap mapping party in two weeks in East Perth (not the Scottish one):
https://geogeeks.org/2026/0308_osm-east-perth.html
The East Perth Cemeteries are also open that day, so maybe we'll do some grave mapping.
This is our second visit to East Perth: in 2022 we mapped Victoria Gardens. This time we'll be south-west of there.
Our shocking new findings are out now!

@ketan I wonder how much the USA has increased as a urgent global security threat? It shouldn't be a zero-sum game.

tl;dr; Europe has a lot to be proud of in terms of technological development! Even if it doesn't look like what comes out of the US.
@Omas_gegen_rechts_Duisburg Australia right now!
And here's an American Ford F-350 next to the most popular car in Europe (Dacia Sandero).
There's a reason why we need to do everything we can to prevent people from driving these stupid American trucks in Europe.
@lapcatsoftware I had this issue 15 years ago. We planned a monthly event (free tickets) with limited capacity. We ended up having tickets for 110% of the capacity that would sell out, and we still had space on the night.
@samwilson I added the footpaths in the Arts Building next to the library. There is more to add, including the other levels. What were you looking at to improve?
There's to be an #OpenStreetMap mapping party tomorrow in Carlisle. Come and map the new Long Park (and other bits of the new railway line) with us! #OSGeoOceania are sponsoring coffees.
@Snoro the website is full of fake and misleading anti-climate articles. With the regular writing I think it's mostly AI. Please put it on your black list and try to get it blacklisted from news aggregators.
lol I actually used the phrase “Let’s delight our customers not Deloitte them” earlier today
https://www.theregister.com/2025/10/06/deloitte_ai_report_australia/
@Snoro Australia lowered it's 2035 target from 65% to 62% because of data centre growth. The author is confusing specially designed machine learning models with LLMs and labelling it all AI.
@ketan yeah I just see it as a 62% target with an "aspirational" goal of 70%. My uni saying was "P's give degrees" and this is what I think about their range.
I am into science and climate activism. I love to learn about social issues and to challenge my own perspectives. I'm also into free and open-source software and I am back in University studying computer science.
