@omgubuntu I hope all android versions for FOSS phones die.

@purism maybe you have explained before, but how hard, and expensive would be to add a processor like an adreno (that is open) capable to run at least shader model 3, and a larger storage drive like 64 GB ? The limitation is to build drivers and software for privacy or the production cost?

@blendernation Does it works on Linux? I have zbrush running under wine.
@pollomostro I don't really know a lot of music. Time ago I found that Ardour,tuxguitar,and Hydrogen are apps to create music/sound related work. And there is bitwig studio, that is available for Linux, but that is closed source.
@pollomostro what about musescore?
@GoatsLive I just enjoy watching this
I'm moving the Scene I have done in Blender to Unity3D. I still preffer Unreal Engine if we talk about Game engines . . . Anyway, let's give it a try. #StayinHome #washyourhands #RemoveWindows #InstallLinux
@exalm@floss.social I had to chose NVIDIA because in the diplomas I was taking, I needed Solid Angle Arnold to render with Maya and Unreal Engine 4 at that time only worked with NVIDIA's Cuda dependencies. Unfortunately the need of privative software I need is impresive in Linux, but is the price I have to pay for privacy and a fast computer.
@exalm@floss.social with elrepo in CentOS 7 it has it's script that fixed that every update, I miss that. I believe that rpm fusion would work that way, but well I have to thank my sloppiness in erasing my boot partition instead a thumb drive with gnome-disks app. I face-palmed myself to the infinity for that . . . I had to deliver some videos, so I had to move to Fedora.
@exalm@floss.social I've already tried that, it looks wonderful in the theory. In the practice it doesn't. I have to use the old fashion way, and the sad part is that every kernel update I have to guess if I need to reinstall the binary because xorg gets wasted. It not always happens, some kernel updates screen doesn't turn into black. I have to have several kernels if reinstalling the NVIDIA binary doesn't work. I know how to resolver that, but every update is like playing russian roulette
@exalm@floss.social nothing to do actually, hahaha sorry. I just I wish that drivers like NVIDIA's could be easy to be installed as in Ubuntu. I just had to unleash my rage somewhere (one of the pictures you posted did the job of making me comment) In Fedora happens something similar with flatpak store and dnf dragora, but I believe that's because the software managers look at what you have installed. It's like checking home folder with thunar, dolphin, caja and any filebrowser app obtained.
