@DrALJONES I am so glad I am not the only one that realized this. The EDM concert was also called the "Peace" concert if I recall correctly. It is hard to believe that this was all a coincidence.
@mirkobrombin There is also the Librem 5 if you want a Freedesktop Linux phone. Although Mobile Linux is still young, it has seen a lot of improvements over the past few years.
@EgyptianAphorist Masha'Allah, this painting and hadith really impacts me deep.

Here are some photos of the Librem 11 that just arrived today. I ordered on day 1, hopefully this helps people understand the scale of the device -- see #steamdeck comparison.
My initial impressions are extremely impressed but I am pretty easy going considering I really like the pioneering in the #linux space by Purism. I'll write upore on my other account soon.

Our Xfinity bill shot up because of an expiring 12-month discount, just as it did a year ago. So I called.
me: I noticed our bill went up and I was wondering if we could repeat whatever pro-forma ritual we need to in order to secure a more reasonable charge again.

I always try to bear in mind that the customer service people I speak with are *way* more victimized by the shitty behavior of their employers than I will ever be.
