@lwriemen @purism @agx It is for campaign analytics, to see which campaign runs best. For me, I don't like #click-tracking because of concerns about #privacy . With the referral URL and knowledge of the instance, you maybe can link it to a single user, e.g. my instance is used only by myself. I think about an addon for Friendica like #ClearURLs that will remove such parts from it. Friendica already has a method for this but no addon that cleans up the post.
