trans, maybe uncomf

@kaia i always find it amusing that at dayjob office they have "gender-neutral" toilets and "woman-friendly" toilets. Both are single-occupant separate rooms, but i guess "woman-friendly" have female hygiene supplies in them or something, but I like the implications that other kind can be seen as "woman-hostile"

I have a friend who is TERF and as far as I understand, they aren't uncomfortable about trans person using the toilet, they mostly just don't care, but that this approach would be exploited by genuine perverts (maybe not the correct term, but let's go with it), to enter women toilets. No one expects this to be widespread even, but there is a possibility and as it always was, people want to be rather safe than sorry.

@m0xee @hj
then the solution would be fixing toilets. US toilets are the worst with their half height dividers you can look through

Yes, as always, this isn't a question of clear right or wrong, rather a set of questions and each of them should be addressed individually. Their concern seems quite genuine to me, addressing it with "Trust me, it just won't happen 😏" and labelling them as trans-hating to apply greater pressure, doesn't feel right.
