Why I Will No Longer Contribute to postmarketOS
@okias
I understand that CoC topics are usually spicy and private, but i do not know what to to with such a vague post. Will there be more clarificationnin the future?
I have rarely been in direct contact with PMOS team members, but when i did, it was very welcoming and goal-oriented.
🤔
@chfkch @okias There is this transparency report: https://docs.postmarketos.org/policies-and-processes/community/code-of-conduct/transparency-reports.html#september-december-2025. I'm not part of the CoC team so I don't know more than what's publicly available.
@okias @newbyte @chfkch Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and now you have nothing to lose if you release all the documentation you have.
But I think prudence would suggest private resolution, redacting information, but that's the purpose of the committee.
If they are dishonest, they should be held accountable.
If anyone in the future is asked to meet with them, they should make a recording of it and release the recording if the transparency reports are counterfactual.
