@RL_Dane yes, that's true, but this fact pertains to United Kingdom politics.
the meme is US-centric. i actually support the libertarian party (in america), but i know they're electorally weak and will never gain power, so where america is concerned, i support and promote the least shitty thing that would actually win.
i don't regard the mainstream republicans as conservative, today. it used to be, when it was the party of ronald raygun.
now the GOP is occupied by power-levelling neo-nazis.
But... aside from the weed and no war, those accomplishments don't seem very libertarian.
