I've been wanting to do something like this for years and now, with my #Droidian port, I finally can.

Hacked up some additional buttons that overlay #Phosh, using #EWW and #Rofi

1) Rofi launcher/window-switcher/web-search

2) Little menu for copy/cut/paste (sometimes you can't do it easily) and quick launch of keepassxc (don't know what else to add yet)

If someone is interested, I'll share all the hacks on github later this week (not that it's something special)

@vacuumbeef That's cool!
You could probably use that to open a sxmo_appmenu.sh for app-specific actions (though currently sxmo's window detection scripts are based on swaymsg, not generic to wlroots).

I would be interested in this to place a button over the keyboard button (which is a steaming pile of dbus), so I could just script that instead of working with it.

@zachdecook
wow I didn't knew about that script, I'll check if I can adapt it (not sure its even possible to get info about focused window in wlroots? maybe through dbus?)
For now I built lisgd and working on simple gestures system, so maybe I'll get rid of eww buttons (I still need eww for some nasty hacks for blocking touchscreen input so I wont trigger scrolling while doing a gesture), and so far I It's already almost as usable and convenient as android, very nice, Ill share it soon.

@zachdecook
also I see you're too fiddling with linux on mobile, try eww too. I think its completely overseen its use for mobile interfaces and wanted to try something literally for years. You can do really anything with it. By the way look how it looks now on my part (I thought rounded corners would not work when I was making a video)
