I'd like to ask about a text browser, our internet is very slow - almost stopped - and I really don't need to see every picture on every site...or even most graphics on any site! Although a browser where I could open the occasional photo that I DO want to see would be nice...but if you use a text browser on linux (or web-based if I have to) what do you use and/or recommend?

@ChiaChatter I use links. It has a graphical version (links -g) which has a similar interface but can display pictures and different sized fonts (though few distributions package the graphical version).
